Democratic Party Symbol
The Democratic Party is one of the two major political parties in the US. The party's logo is entirely blue, as the color blue is now commonly associated with the Democrat Party. The color red is linked to the Republican Party.
Republican Party Symbol
The Republican Party was formed in 1854 and six years later Abraham Lincoln became its first member elected to the White House. The party's symbol is the elephant because the 1874 cartoon often credited with popularizing the elephant as a symbol for the Republican Party.
