Billie Eilish's 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' Vinyl Packaging Earns Environmental Accreditation
FSC Certification Affirms Commitment to Sustainability
Recycled Materials and Post-Consumer Waste Reduce Environmental Impact
The packaging for Billie Eilish's highly anticipated third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT," has received Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, signifying its commitment to environmental sustainability.
All vinyl packaging is made from FSC certified recycled paperboards, which are produced using 100% post-consumer waste and recycled pre-consumer fibers. This ensures that the packaging is not contributing to deforestation or other environmentally damaging practices.
The FSC certification further highlights Eilish's dedication to reducing her environmental footprint. Her previous album, "Happier Than Ever," also featured eco-friendly packaging made from recycled and sustainable materials.
The "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT" vinyl bundle includes the album on exclusive vinyl, a signed art card, and a digital album download. The album will be released on June 10, 2023, via Darkroom/Interscope Records.
Eilish's commitment to sustainability extends beyond her music. The singer has been vocal about climate change and has used her platform to raise awareness about environmental issues. She has also partnered with organizations such as Greenpeace and PETA to advocate for animal rights and environmental protection.
By opting for FSC certified recycled packaging, Billie Eilish is setting an example for other artists in the music industry to prioritize environmental responsibility. Her actions demonstrate that it is possible to create a successful and environmentally conscious music product.
