Yuja Wang, born February 10, 1987 in Beijing, China, began her musical journey at the tender age of six. Raised in a musically inclined family, she quickly developed a passion for the piano.

International Recognition

Wang's exceptional talent gained international acclaim when she performed at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris in 2018, accompanied by the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under the esteemed conductor Valery Gergiev. Her virtuosic performances have earned her numerous accolades, including Musical America's Artist of the Year in 2017 and an Opus Klassik Award in 2021 for her world-premiere recording of John Adams' composition.
